INTRODUCING LYDIA'S REVEAL - AN ART CHALLENGE
Hi all, this is Lydia aka Kenning Stone, as Kim aka imagesbykim has promised we are bringing a Theme Challenge to PDA. So I would like to introduce you to:
LYDIA’S REVEAL
The Reveal Challenge is open to both PDA Members and non-members, so feel free to invite your friends to join. We welcome anyone who feels they are being creative and artistic, with any medium: paint, crayons, fabric, jewellry, paper, sculpture, cross-stitching, scrap booking, etc.
Although we welcome ALL artistic expression, we ask that all nude expression be of artistic and not explicit sexual content. You may upload those images to your blogs as you desire, however we will ask for basic block coverage for display on Lydia’s Reveal.
Our first theme is being given out today (September 1st, 2008). To get the theme visit our new blog at Lydia’s Reveal.
When you have completed your theme project, upload a copy for us to see on your website or blog and leave a comment on the Reveal Blog with a link back to your site. Feel free to describe your item creation, the materials used, your inspiration etc Be sure to visit the blogs of other entries to be even more inspired. Leave comments, and enjoy.
You may enter as many projects as you like but be sure to link each one on the Review comments separately. As you are a participant in Lydia’s Reveal Theme Challenges, we reserve the right to upload your project images to the site for display purposed only. Each image will be displayed with links back to your site. It is up to you, to watermark or copyright your images as you feel required.
You are the owner of your finished project, and are free to sell or do what ever you like with your art item.
We’ll be meeting on the 1st of every month - that’s right, only ONCE a month, so you will have plenty of time to create and post your art for all of us to see. On those days we will set up a 1 week voting plexo for the previous challenge whilst we introduce you to the next new challenge. We will display all of the finished art items together for your viewing. All participants (and their friends, family, dogs, cats, goldfish, and even your mailman) as well as all site visitors get the chance to vote for their favourite - the winner.
We will allow approx 7 days from the voting day set up. If the winner is a PDA Member they get the handsome virtual Reveal Winner Award for their blog,
and their Selling Venue Advertisement goes up on theLydia’s Reveal Blog for two weeks! And of course their winning art work will be featured on the Reveal Blog.
Although Kim aka imagesbykim and myself Lydia aka Kenningstone may participate in the challenge, we will not be participating in the award process.
If the winner is a non PDA Member, they will win the virtual Reveal Winner Award for their blog and their winning art work will be featured on the Reveal Blog.
We may even have small prizes for the winner from time to time. So go see the Lydia’s Reveal Blog - get inspired and start creating,

(I know, it’s a tongue twister so I just call it LRR), I really enjoy sharing and looking at challenge results and finding gems, so I’ve decided I would choose my personal favourite from time to time and that artist will receive the fabulous virtual award called …drum roll please…:
'The Reveal Award of Excellence'

Although both the Reveal Winner Award and the Reveal Award of Excellence are virtual, they are Earned, they are Not “pass along and share with 5 friends” awards. If awarded to you, you will have earned the right to display these awards proudly on your site because of your artistic excellence. It will come with your name as you like it displayed.
