Can-eh? Can-Artistry

Are members allowed to sell craft supplies?

Items directly or even loosely related to arts and crafts.

I sell different items on my website for art creation including vintage items, old post cards and papers. Are these allowed on ICraft?

Those are very good questions, Kim.

We accept original handmade art, craft and fashion items from independent Creators from around the world.

Generally, we don’t allow previously-used or vintage items, as well as craft supplies. Product resellers are also not permitted on our site.

However, you can list items on iCraft.ca that were made out of recycled materials. It's even ok to list a previously-used item, ONLY if it is used as an artistic canvas.
When we say "no previously-used items" are allowed to be listed on the site, we mean merchandise that has been used by someone for one purpose cannot be sold on the site for the same purpose. For example, if you create a necklace which someone buys and uses for a period of time, you cannot sell that same item on iCraft.ca if it comes back into your possession.
However, if you utilize items which are previously-used as a material or canvas for your creation or artwork (i.e. furniture, household items, etc.), then you are allowed to list them on the site because they are not being used for the same purpose they were originally designed for.

As for the craft supplies, you can list them ONLY if you’ve made them yourself. For example, we have “Artisan Beads”, “Yarns” and “Textile / Fabric” Subcategories. We can always add more Subcategories for craft supplies, but you have to either design or produce those items yourself.

You can find more about our Submission Criteria on this page http://icraft.ca/submit-products.php
Thanks,

-Lisa
