Greetings and Happy Thanksgiving Weekend to all Can-eh Members, extended families and fellow Canadians.

May your plates overflow with wonderful yumminess and may the Gods of Calorie Free shine upon you this weekend as you enjoy the option of possibly having the second helping of pumpkin and apple pie!

I personally give thanks to our continued Canadian freedom, and thoughts and prayers are with our soldiers both Canadian and American and to their families celebrating Thanksgiving without them.

I give thanks to have the choice to vote, the choice for whom to vote, and for the freedom we take for granted each and every day.

I give Thanks for the opportunity to enjoy being an artist and being surrounded by fellow artists to share here on Can-eh and the many other art groups.

Here we are at Newsletter number 2 of the Can-eh ning network.

Wow, we are now over 100 members, and just a few short months as a group. Please continue to tell your fellow crafters and artists about our site. membership is always free and open to all Canadian artists and crafters.

I am pleased to welcome Lisa from Icraft.ca has joined Can-eh as an admin member for the Icraft.ca website and selling venue.

We have set up a forum discussion board for Icraft.

Learn about this new Canadian selling venue, add your referral key if you are a member, and please feel free to ask questions and add your comments and suggestions for Icraft.

Lisa is here to help you and to take the information back to Icraft.ca They too are Canadian sellers of arts and crafts.

Lisa has started a Group for Icraft members, please do join if you are a member and we would love to hear more from you about your experiences on Icraft.ca

I personally have joined Icraft.ca, and I will be doing my own site review and posting that information in the next few days.

Lydia's Reveal, is our art challenge site. Moderated by Lydia aka Kenningstone, she will challenge our artistic expression with a variety of topics for all art mediums. This challenge site is open to both Can-eh and non Can-eh members with special perks for those on Can-eh including occasionally some freebie stuff and prizes (It will be mailed on Tuesday Sabrina, I promise:) )

Sabrina aka Wishcraft Charms was the winner of our first challenge; theme: Reveal and we are now wrapping up our 3rd challenge: theme:Vase this week.

You can read more about it as well as the rules for participating in the art challenges.

Still a slow start, and we are keeping in mind the up and coming busy selling season, we certainly look forward to more participation from our members in the future.

I will be temporarily postponing the opening of The Can-eh Virtual Mall website ( I don't know where the time has gone) until some time in the new year due to an overload of commitments and trying to keep up with my own selling, art ventures, blogs and oh, maybe just a little wee bit of personal life for the season.

For the next couple of weeks, I will be arting, crafting, blogging, linking, swapping, close to the monitor, and always hooked into Can-eh so please feel free to contact me any time with your questions and concerns.
