Sam(afou) is a real person - once the most enchanting wee girl in all of Chad and now, the most enchanting young, married woman in all of Chad! I sponsored her - via one of those charity dealies - from the time she was 8 'til she married. You were supposed to only send silly bits and pces. - ie. stickers (for God's sake!) - but I thought I'd try stuff like fabric (for her Mom to use), t-shirts, balloons (huge favourite), paper & coloured pencils, charms with lengths of cord, etc.,etc. and, believe it or not, allllll this stuff actually did reach her! I know, bc. she was the greatest little writer (via her charity worker) of thank you letters! Anyway, alllll of this is to say that this mask is one of my personal favourites precisely bc. it is of daaaaaaaarling Sam! I'm so happy you like it, too! By the way, I used bubblegum pink for Sam's bkgrd. bc. it's Sam's "very favouritest colour"!
