Thanks for the info, Mary Ann. I'll just google it.
Have never been to the Baysville walkabout. I'm pretty sure my parents have been. It sounds like the perfect venue, and I'd like to attend, but this year, especially in July, I seem to have most weekends booked with stuff already. ( I wonder what happened to the carefree life?!)
Sounds like you've some great ideas. Go for it! My unasked for advice to a "newbie" would be, if you can somehow link your products in a "green" way, then that's a whole new market for you to explore. So many people are buying into that now, as it's really the trend, (happily enough!) and it seems to be working for me...Just a thought for you!
Anyhow, I should get some work done, too! Then I can watch the Y&R guilt free later on ; )
Will check out your website...Feel free to look at mine. I have two blogs. There's another thing you might want to look into. I get a lot of hits on there now, so just another thought!

Enjoy your day, and keep in touch!

I've only been doing papier-mache for a year now, but have fallen in love with it. Am actually a painter and on the Haliburton Studio Tour. It's a good venue to be on, especially since my home/studio is closer to Dorset than Minden, so I'm guaranteed some visitors! You guys have a nice tour in Muskoka. Have visited a few studio's on it.
Would love some info on the farmer's market. Sounds like you keep pretty busy with that and work too. It's hard to balance things sometimes...I'm also a horticulturalist. I sell seeds and herbs etc. Love to play in the garden, so I totally agree with you about winter. I don't mind it, but it does drag on!
By the way, I love your pillows and mittens. They look very cosy and soft! And I like the name, Backyard Bear. We certainly see many in ours, especially in the spring!
Cheers,
Karen
Hi Backyard Bear,
Thanks for adding me as a friend. As far as the internet goes, I'd say we're pretty much neighbors!
I appreciate your comments, too. And nope, wasn't my moose! Would have enjoyed seeing that.
Cheers,
K
