Now here is Roba IX: back and front (FOR THE FULL ROBA STORY SEE MY KENNING STONE BLOG)
>

Roba said her good-byes, called to Anois and excepted the package of food from Baba Yaga. She walked into the forest with a sigh...she did not look forward to the hard walk through the forest....it would be even more difficult now that she had no hope of a magic hat in her life. They crossed the stream to the other bank where the walking was a little easier...but after only ten minutes, Roba was surprised to see a small hut just ahead. When she got closer it was clear that it was the house of Baba Yaga. "That could not be!", thought Roba...she had not walked in circles...she had crossed the stream...yet there was Radharc blissfully eating the bread crumbs that Baba had tossed up on the roof. Roba took a deep breath and walked away from the house along the river. She had just got to the point where she had started laughing at herself for being silly and walking in circles when once again she came upon the hut. Roba was very confused. She had been following the river up stream all the way. She would not get to the bridge by dark at this pace. After the fourth or fifth time of coming upon the house Roba sat beneath an old tree and cried. She was exhausted from keeping her balance in the stream and fighting her way through the branches and frustrated at still being only a stone's throw away from the house. The sun was warm and the moss covered ground soft, so she softly cried herself to sleep. Roba dreamed that a rabbit had come near her and whispered into her ear. "The house is very fond of you and wishes only to say good-bye." Roba woke with a start - she was cwertain that she had
heard a voice...soft and low but very clear. Roba jumped up to look around - she peered through the trees in all directions but saw no one. Brushing off her dress and calling for Anois to follow her she continued her walk. In only a few minutes there again was the house. It occurred to Roba that perhaps her dream was right - so she walked carefully to the house, cleared her throat and spoke: "ahem...Ah, you are a lovely cottage. I was very comfortable and pleased to spend several days with you. I do hope we shall be able to visit again..mmm, but I must go now to my own home...so I wish you well, and good bye...good bye...". She waved at the house feeling very foolish. The curtains flapped wildly out of the windows as if to say good-bye to her. She turned and was careful to observe that she was walking up-stream. Roba stepped into the river and walked without looking back.*********
Ok...I haven't had time to write any more than that so we'll stop there for now.. and Thank you so much for reading my story and looking at my art. Namaste
